Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
